DIY Caterpillar Clothespin Magnet

This is a super cute and easy craft for anyone! It is a clothespin transformed into a magnetic and bright caterpillar. For a year now I teach a weekly craft class at a senior living community and I come up with little projects like these. They have a “craft” closet there where people donate crafts and supplies, but it’s pretty slim and somehow for an entire year I have not bought anything for “Crafts with Leah.”

 

  I think these clothespins are ancient because they were way smaller than the normal size.  Remember, most of our donors are in their 70s and have collected crafts for decades. Then we had a bag of fuzzy pom-poms, adhesive magnetic strips, and glue or hot glue.
